For a budget gaming desktop, check out the Horizon 2. It retails for less than $1,000 and is powered by the Intel Core i5-12400F processor and the AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT. Compared to Nvidia, the 6650 XT, according to user tests, outperforms the RTX 3060 but falls slightly short of the RTX 4060.

Speaking of the 4060, the second cheapest pre-built on sale, the Horizon 2 Proreplaces AMD's RX 6650 XT with Nvidia's RTX 4060Ti. While it costs $250 more than the Horizon 2, it offers a marked increase in effective GPU speed.
