You can get a spacious laptop Asus Vivobook 16 inch with an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD for just $519 (was $699). On the gaming side, Walmart is offering an HP Victus gaming laptop for just $599, which is about the lowest price you'll find for a gaming laptop in 2024. Equipped with an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, this HP Victus is geared more toward indie games and less graphics-intensive experiences. Don't expect it to run the latest AAA games well, but the RAM is expandable to 16GB. Adding an additional 8GB of RAM is cheap and easy to do. This Victus model has a 15.6-inch 144Hz display with anti-glare technology.

For a more powerful gaming laptop, the Asus ROG Strix G17 is on sale with a $250 discount. The ROG Strix G17 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 processor, an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It also sports a massive 17.3-inch display that supports a 240Hz refresh rate.
