
A suspect has been arrested after a wild crash at a Delaware golf course was caught on video.
According to local officials, around 2:20 p.m. on August 29, a blue Ford Bronco was driving erratically on the golf course at Deerfield Golf Club in Newark, Delaware. TMZthe vehicle crashed into a golf cart, the golfer was ejected and the driver quickly fled the scene. According to assumptions, the driver was drunk, and the authorities did not have a difficult time finding the truck and detaining the perpetrator after the incident.
The video went viral on Reddit to shock and horror. The victim suffered minor injuries at the scene, but refused further medical care. The driver has since been hospitalized and is expected to appear in court after his release. He is wanted on a host of charges, including drunken driving, reckless endangerment, malicious mischief and leaving the scene of an accident.

A Reddit user who claimed to be in the viral video described the horror he experienced.
“That's me in this video. I'm the guy running out of the way before the driver hits the golf cart that my boyfriend was in,” he said. “We just finished 16th hole and someone was doing donuts all over the course. I took out my phone to try and take a picture of his license plate to get into the clubhouse.”
It quickly went from weird to scary.
“The driver saw me filming him and turned around to try and run him over,” he continued. “All we know at this point is that the driver was caught by the police and we gave our statements. We don't know the motive or anything else. We went from 'I'm taking pictures of some idiot' to 'Oh! will try to kill you within about 0.5 seconds.”
