Tom Brady auctioned off his luxury watch collection

With such a successful career in the NFL, Tom Brady has been able to buy quite a few expensive watches over the years. Well, some luxury watches can be yours – for a pretty penny, of course.

On December 10, Sotheby's auction house will sell Brady's watches as part of the event “The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady”. The biggest luxury brands are represented, from Rolex and Patek Philippe to IWC and Audemars Piguet. For Brady, the sale means sharing his decades-long legacy with a few lucky fans.

“I have been so fortunate to have had such an amazing journey in my career, and these watches and collections truly capture those unforgettable moments and the hard work behind them,” said Brady. NBC News. “I am excited to give fans and collectors the opportunity to own and cherish these special pieces during my journey, just as I have.”

The watches cost between $12,000 and $800,000, depending on the model. Among them is a custom-made white gold and diamond flying tourbillon Audemars Piguet Royak Oak watch that Brady wore during his infamous Netflix roast earlier this year. The watch is expected to sell for between $400,000 and $800,000. He will also be selling his Richard Mille 35-03 “Baby Nadal” encased in blue quartz, which can sell for up to $500,000. Brady's rose gold Patek Philippe Nautilus and the IWC Pilot Watch Top Gun “SFTI” edition also hit the market; the IWC piece is particularly notable as it was worn in his final Super Bowl championship parade in 2021.

Needless to say, the seven-time Super Bowl champion has amassed quite a collection over the years.

“As he mastered the language of football, he devoted himself to understanding the intricacies of watches and in recent years has produced world-class timepieces that reflect his deep passion for collecting,” said Richard Lopez, luxury watch expert at Sotheby's.

The GOAT Collection: Watches & Treasures from Tom Brady will be auctioned live on December 10 at Sotheby's in New York.
