Oscar-winning actress Kathy Bates made a surprising revelation about the future of her career in an interview The New York Times appeared on September 8, admitting that he would retire from acting after his next role.
Bates is doing press rounds Matlocka reimagining of the classic television procedural starring Andy Griffith as Holmes criminal defense attorney Ben Matlock. “This is my last dance,” Bates said NYT series, which premieres September 22 on CBS and Paramount+. “It becomes my life,” he continued. “Sometimes I'm jealous that I have this talent. Because I can't hold it back and I just want my life.”
