One Piece Film Red to Release 4K English Steelbook Edition in November

The latest film in the long-running One Piece series, One Piece Film Red, will be released on November 5th in a new 4K Blu-ray Steelbook edition. While the film originally premiered in 2022 and was released on Blu-ray in North America shortly after, this new Steelbook release marks the first time North American fans can pick up the film in 4K with the English dub, and it includes a selection of bonus content. The three-disc box set includes the 4K version of One Piece Film Red with English and Japanese voices and English subtitles, as well as three episodes of the One Piece anime featuring the character Uta, and a selection of trailers and previews from the film. The box set comes in a collectible steel case with a unique cover featuring Uta.

The One Piece Film Red 4K Steelbook Edition is available for preorder on Amazon and Crunchyroll. Amazon currently has the film for $40, while it’s discounted to $30 on Crunchyroll, so it’s possible that Amazon will adjust its price closer to launch. If you just want to see the movie and don't want to wait for the 4K release, you can pick up One Piece Film Red on standard Blu-ray for $21 (was $35) on Amazon. This edition includes the Blu-ray version of the movie with the Japanese soundtrack and English subtitles. If you prefer the English dub, you'll have to pre-order the 4K version instead.
