As 2K's NBA 2K25 slowly approaches, we now have our first look at some of the WNBA's most prominent athletes.
The two featured images were posted on the official NBA 2K X/Twitter account. The first featured athlete was Caitlin Clark, who plays for the Indiana Fever. She was one of the stars of the season and was selected first overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. In May, Clark was named Rookie of the Month.
Angel Reese is another rookie who has made a name for himself this season. Reese currently plays for the Chicago Sky and is the seventh overall pick in the 2024 draft. Reese was also named Rookie of the Month in June.
It's also worth mentioning that the addition of the WNBA to the 2K series is still relatively new. The league was only just added to the game a few years ago in NBA 2K20.
NBA 2K25 is expected to see “the biggest change to our game engine in many years.” These changes include a new dribbling engine, new features for offense and defense, and even an option to create and share custom playbooks.
NBA 2K25 is scheduled for release on September 6. It will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
