We are just over a month away from the big fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. But even after the bout was postponed from its original date in July because the legendary boxer suffered an ulcer outbreak, he appears to be looking as mean as ever in a new training video.
Tyson, 58, posted a video of his in-ring training on Instagram late Thursday night. In the short clip, he can be seen lacing up his gloves before delivering the lightning-quick punches he has become known for during his nearly 30-year career.
“Final leg. Less than 50 days to go,” he captioned the video, which should be enough to make Paul, 27, quaking in his boots.

Tyson has been open about his training program in the months leading up to the fight. In particular, he talked about his decision to give up sex and weed — as he's an outspoken advocate who boasts his own line of cannabis products — to focus more on the fight. (Although he did admit to incorporating psilocybin mushrooms into his routine.)
“I train extremely hard. I start at 11 [a.m.] and I might leave the gym at 5 [p.m.]” he said in an appearance on September 23 Jimmy Kimmel Live!noting that he takes a “little break” during the day and does a variety of workouts during the six-hour period. “After I'm done boxing, I get an hour-long massage and then I go right into strength and conditioning.”
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will stream live on Netflix on November 15, 2024.
