Lego Horizon Adventures release date reportedly leaked

Lego Horizon Adventures, described as a “lighthearted and playful” take on Sony's Horizon: Zero Dawn franchise, will be released on November 14, according to a leak. The game was shown off during the Nintendo Direct on August 27, but Nintendo only reiterated the “Holiday 2024” date and did not provide a specific date.

Gematsu reported that the PlayStation website's homepage briefly stated that Lego Horizon Adventures' release date was set for November 14, but it has since been updated to remove it. A PlayStation State of Play event is expected to take place in September, and some speculate that Sony could announce Lego Horizon Adventures' release date at that time.

Lego Horizon Adventures is co-developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo, and will launch on Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. No word on an Xbox release for the game has been given yet.

Lego Horizon Adventures continues the overarching story of Horizon, which follows heroine Aloy and her life in a harsh and unforgiving world filled with dinosaur-like mechanical creatures. The game supports single-player or co-op play both locally and online.

Horizon is the latest franchise to be adapted for a Lego game, after Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Marvel.

As for the Horizon game series, no new installments have been announced, although a multiplayer title is reportedly in the works. Beyond that, a live-action TV series based on the franchise has been announced for Netflix, but it may no longer see the light of day.
