QuakeCon 2024 is this weekend, but longtime Doom fans have already been treated to several interesting reveals. Both the original Doom and its sequel Doom II received free upgrades for current owners (though both games are great (cheap right now). The biggest news, though, is the upcoming release of Doom Anthology. Pre-orders are starting to go live on Amazon, but you'll have to be quick.

Doom Anthology is a special edition compilation that includes six Doom games, a limited edition Steelbook case, and a five-inch BFG replica with LED lights and a display stand.
Doom Anthology costs $80 and will launch on PC (Steam key), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The Fallout Anthology Edition sold out quickly when it launched earlier this year, so you'll definitely want to pre-order Doom Anthology if you're interested.

Doom Anthology isn't the only exciting upcoming game in the franchise. Limited Run Games will release a physical edition of the first game for the Super Nintendo in 2025. It will be available in both standard and collector's editions, each with a poster and instruction booklet. The SNES cartridge version of Limited Run's Doom isn't available to order yet, but you can find it here when it releases.
