Over the weekend, a college cross-country meet was the scene of tragedy after a runner collapsed during the event and died a short time later.
According to WMGCross country runner Nefertari Holston of Dothan, Alabama, 23, suffered a cardiac arrest while competing at the MGA/Julius Johnson Invitational on September 21 at Middle George State University in Macon, Georgia. He was taken to Atrium Health. Navicent Hospital and died at 10 A.M
