Adam Boyes is stepping down as co-CEO of Iron Galaxy

Adam Boyes is leaving Iron Galaxy after eight years with the developer.

Boyes announced his departure in a blog post, saying he would leave his position by the end of the year.

Boyes became CEO of the studio in June 2016, having previously held leadership roles at PlayStation, Capcom, Midway Games and Electronic Arts.

In November 2020, he was appointed co-CEO alongside Chelsea Blasko. Blasko will take over Boyes' duties and become CEO of Iron Galaxy.

“I want to offer my sincere thanks to the people who welcomed me to run this company with them,” Boyes wrote.

“Dave Lang, thank you for believing in me to push the boundaries of what Iron Galaxy could achieve. Chelsea Blasko, thank you for teaching me so much about building a strong culture – Iron Galaxy is at its best with you as their only CEO hand.” .”

He continued: “Iron Galaxy is the best place I've ever worked. It's weird to say that in the same breath I use when I say I'm leaving, but we all have to follow our hearts. Making video games is a passionate endeavor for passionate people and our industry needs more help than ever before.”
